Re: First of a kind?

I've held out for some time now, and here's what I have to say. I'm making another one. My Victorian desert route was so popular (over 200 downloads; I know, not impressive), I've decided to model the Tumulla banks in Aussie, in the steam era. Yes, fictional. Based loosely off of the Tumalla banks route located in New South Wales. Unfortunately, at a obvious lack of NSWGR C36's and AD60's, I cannot accurately recreate operations. I used the default Black Five, matched with the Hall tender, and the 7F configured like a Garratt, to run freight trains, while I used KNGtrain's red 3F for passenger operations. More details to come.

Thanks a lot for bringing some new blood to RW, I will try your route asap, I am looking forward to running some steam beasts in it!

Cheers,

Manuel

PS: just installed, RW Tools reports this missing: \Assets\MBIWSIGNALS\RailNetwork\iw signalling\accessories\signaltelephone.bin,(Scenery Item) on tile +000006+000005.bin,

Any help as to where to find it would be appreciated.

Just a couple of comments.

1. There is no reason why MSTS would not run under Vista or Windows 7. I have had Vista since the early Beta versions and there was never any problem installing it or running it there.

2. Thanks for uploading some Aussie routes. I published one of the first Aussie routes for MSTS, the Blue Mountains Route, and was contemplating doing the same route for RailWorks now that DEM data for the area is available. However as no one built any rolling-stock, building the route seemed pointless. The only rolling stock available would be the HST which could be reskinned into NSW CountryLink colours. Surely some of the excellent builders of MSTS Aussie stock could convert their models to RW with very little work, especially if they were built using 3D Canvas.

I'm not arguing (just explaining why I'm right).

That was a small telephone booth placed around the junction at Winder Hill. It came from mbtech22's SR signal kit, I called it the GWR signal kit by mistake, its UKTS ID: 19295. Sorry about that.
