For now it seems this event is effectively cancelled.
I read that 30777 has failed and can't make it, 473 won't be ready in time, and 1638's repairs aren't to be done either.
Real shame as I was really looking forward to it.
It is not on the special events list although a visitor is being sort in case something can get here by Tuesday.
Event seems cursed, 34070 Manston was going to also visit but failed before it could be announced too!

Do not say it is cancelled until there is some sort of announcement. Engine hires have been arranged at short notice in the past, and might be again.

Not saying definitely, hence 'it seems', I'd hate it if it was, I think my post was made in some glum disappointment.

Bluebell website doesn't state the event is cancelled at all, i assume it was removed last night so that they could update the page.

Must be right Kieran, good to see I will still able to look forward to the gala, hopefully going to be able to do a day riding and a day filming!
