A bold claim ... but I can create simple assets, signs, huts, small houses, etc that are passable in the simulation.

A wish list to choose from would be a good idea.

EDIT - Derek beat me to it.

The provider product will be;

Provider: Community
Product: ProjectPlatform

The final product name will probably change but not this structure, my brain is not big enough to come up with something better and we can document everything in the manual.

Adam has set up the the folder structure that contributors should be using to supply items for the Project Platform event.
To build and put up on steam we would like to have the source IGS and ACE files (You do not have to hand over the source model file if you do not wish to)

There are no restrictions on what you can donate, and we will try to use all.

Example Scenery structure:

Community\ProjectPlatform\scenery\InsertName1 folders should be replaced with the providers name
eg Community\ProjectPlatform\Scenery\RSderek

In the RSderek folder in Scenery there would be the IGS and XML files as well as a textures folder containing the ACE files.

All assets have to be self contained.

For those who are interested PM me and I will email you the FTP details closer to the time.

By definition, what sort of 'boats' are you refering too?

I've just found this project, or I would have responded earlier.

I have a number of names for the Island. There are some comedians out there!
:)
Keep them coming.

Derek

Edit, Hiya Bazza,
The Harbour area I have not thought much about, There of course would be little fishing boats, but I was wondering if the Stone from the quarry should be loaded onto a boat there.
My knowledge of such things is not great so am happy to be told.

Thanks for the comments.

Another model I might include is this "powder" van:-

Originally built for use by various Royal Naval Armaments Depots for transportation of explosives, armaments etc. They can now be seen on various narrow gauge lines across the country.
This particularly, "slightly rundown" example was found on the Amerton Farm Railway.

I might possibly renovate it, slightly, prior to release.

Cheers,
Kevin
