Many thanks to you both for the kind words.
There are another 8 or so that I have ready for upload which will be joined by a reskin kit which will include photoshop and gmax files for anyone brave enough to build their own spec class 47s.
I don't have my own internet connection at the moment so tend to disappear for spells at a time, so am unable to offer support for anyone that might need it.
Happy gricing all.

Hi
Thanks Ian.......... they are outstanding. :P
Fantastic timing too.... as I was just thinking MSTS had become a little 'stale' of late.

Cheers

Ian, good to see you back, they look superb.

Have you considering doing any more Southern EMUs at all? Those EPBs you made in the last couple of years were just fantastic.
The Class 303/311 pack - 26 EMUs for MSTS/OR covering every era of these iconic Clyde-based units. From Caley Blue to Carmine and Cream!

I totally agree with all the above. :D

Many thanks to all the folks who have kept on producing and uploading content for MSTS.

It's up to us to keep it alive.

Hi Ian,
May I add my appreciation of these models, especially the early green liveries. :D

I notice however, the use of two types of couplings Auto and Chain at either end.
I believe this was done to enable use with any stock simply by flipping the loco in the AE.
I only noticed this when going through my pre-install procedure of installing to a 'Ghost' folder (as I call it) and checking compatability with my setup.

With the advent of MSTSBin and the ability to switch Cabs. There could be problems for the newer MSTS user. :-?
May I respectfuly suggest, an addition to the readme pointing this out, with instructions for changing the .eng file, or even alternative files.

This is meant constructivly no offence is intended. 8)

Good Luck
Doug

They do look brilliant Ian. I think I may update some of my older repaints using the updated model. :)

Ollie I couldn't agree more. It just goes to show what IS possible in MSTS and that whilst RS/RW develops there is still much to keep ALL your chosen rail sims current? No need to nail any flags to your mast. Run 'em all?

Now those of us who like the BR blue and onwards era are hoping (NO PRESSURE   ) your creative urge has extended to updating your excellent 56's too? :)

Hi all, sorry for hogging the downloads page again! I decided to do the reskin kit seperately from the gmax models to keep things a bit simpler.
The gmax pack will come next week sometime.
Regarding the issue with the couplers my MS install couples to either type without flipping the loco around in the AE.
Hope to see many rekins from you all.
All the best
Ian J

I wonder who that is asking for a 4BIG Dave?
You may have to wait for that one...
