Great Day for Steam Fans in the North East 19/09/09

Just to let everone know that there is no less than 3 Steam charters due up North Eastern Part the ECML on Saturday 19th September 2009! So Far they are due AM.

Sir Nigel Gresley To run the Heart of Midloathian
Oliver Cromwell To run The Cumbrian Mountain Express (looks like terminating at Darlington)
Duchess of Sutherland To run The Tyne Valley Tourer.

And if you can get to York there's Tornado there too at 13:30 if my memory serves me well. :D

Actually there will be 4 steam tours in/out of York.

Guess where i will be from 7am.

Hi

Just had a thought - 4 steam trains in 1 day (5 if you include Tornado doing return leg) in York must be a record since the end of steam.

I know i have seen a max of 2 steam in York.

Can anyone confirm if 4 (5) in one day is a record.
