Still should be darker, try using the colour command in the actual object.

Okay, well I am not going to worry too much at the moment, about this, but will continue to build the route. If I feel the need to come back to it at a later date, then I assure you I defiantly will.

Re: Announcing a new route in Development
On the subject of electrification in tunnels, there are many tunnels that are electrified with 25kV AC overhead. AC electrification of tube tunnels though is rare, as AC is usually high voltage (25kV being most common, the lowest i'm sure being 3kV for electrified railways) and therefore requires high clearances, which need bigger diameter tunnels. Oviously for the Channel Tunnel due to the large size of the shuttle trains the tunnels needed to be big anyway, so 25kV clearances wern't a problem. For that sort of tunnel there is a tradeoff too, lower voltage allows smaller tunnels, but requires more sub stations, and building sub stations underground is expensive. For a metro type system the sub stations can be built into the stations, so it's not the same issue.
Overhead electrification of tube tunnels is more common these days, but usually DC, with 1500v being quite normal. As has been said, Newcastle Metro uses 1500v DC overhead. The lower voltage means lower clearance, although the tunnels do need to be slightly bigger than for the same size stock and conductor rail electrification. The Moorgate or Liverpool Loop lines for example could never be overhead electrified as they lack clearance.

Class377Electrostar - please do not hijack threads in this way - this thread is about Kieran's City Network route and related topics. There's nothing wrong with your videos but I'm afraid they don't really belong here. I have therefore split your four posts containing your videos from this thread and created a new thread for them in the Railway Photography forum: http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 9&t=103244
