New Forest Route Glitch?

Post by darkdj »

sorry if this is the wrong place for this, or has been discussed before, please move if it's not.

But i have a glitch in the "New Forest Route" whenever I am in lymington or brockenhurst, and i have supplied a screenie to show what i mean.

Image

it appears to be houses, and "tears" through the rest of the scenery until beyond brockenhurst and lymington

does anyone know how to get rid of it or if theres a patch|?...

cheers, dark.

If my memory serves me well, I think the one I had was down to a faulty shape file, most likely.

Sorry, I`ve only just seen this, and sorry for the error. This is due to a faulty shape file "semidetached.s"
I haven`t issued a patch as V2 will be coming out soon.
I can suggest 3 options
1) send me a personal message with your email address. ( or contact me at the email addr in the "readme")
I will send you the corrected shape file, and you can copy it into the Route shape folder.
2) go into route editor, find your way to Lymington and delete the semidetached house just West of the level crossing.
3) try running the shape file through Paul Gausden`s "shape fixer" utility UKTS file ID 17056
Thanks Rick
