Pendolino from Birmingham New Street to Rugby. Stood in the vestibule between a couple of the first class coaches as second was standing room only. And jealously looking at the 4 first class passengers with a coach each to themselves. Perhaps Virgin could declassify one or two on the fly where necessary.

Good trip aside from the length, just under 4 hours and the people that kept wanting to sit by me when there was plenty of other seats. Every seat full leaving Shrewsbury, shows how popular these services are

Ahhh, the Lynx aftershave IS as good as they say, eh?the people that kept wanting to sit by me when there was plenty of other seats.

No doubt the last time I went on a train I was at NYMR
I miss Yorkshire sooo much
and Sir Nigel Gresley, when ever we go to NYMR shes on the mainline...and we cant afford main line tours

Actually when i got off i noticed a smashed window by the toilet (so not too big a problem) but still told the bloke behind the ticket office, he told me that they knew and it had been out most of the day

Last one was the 16:58 Liverpool Street - Cambridge service to Stansted Mountfitchet.
Next one will be the 20:03 Stansted Airport - Stratford as far as Bishops Stortford and returning on the 20:58 arriving back home at 21:48.
