Hi all,
Just a quickie, i can't seem to work out how to model the sea! I want to start a new fictional route that incorporates a sea side run. I can lay rivers etc, no probs, but i can't seem to work out how to do the sea. Any ideas?
Regards, James

First get a whole lot of water...
With all the forum changes I'm not sure on this one, but I think you might have to register and log in to see the pictures;

Essentially you move outside the working area to a flat place, set down a lake object, grab the handles and stretch it all the way out. CTRL C to copy it, CTRL V to paste multiple copies, when you have 4 in a square hold down the CTRL key and click all four to multiple select, CTRL C to copy those, CTRL V to paste a zillion. Then multiple select the whole thing, drag it over to the shore and adjust the height. They stretch out to a kilometer on a side, so I don't think you need more than two or three wide since you can't see further than that.
