Hi Jonboy3, you have the new CD which has all the patches upto and including 5 hence the CD is marked 1.05, as far as I know looking at the Class 15 Preservation Society News site that Patch 6 is not out yet.
I, like you got my new CD last week and await the latest Patch to correct faults that various people have mentioned.

patch 6 is now out,its on the download libary, thats why i asked how do i find out if i have it or not,as you read it,it says,

new patch for North Wales Coast add-on number 6, this resolves problems highlighted on the UKTS forums, details in the README included in the zip This patch does not overwrite patch 5, users who do not have a V 1.05 on the DVD disc will need to also install patch 5 if not done so. Users who have a V 1.06 on the DVD disc do not need to install this patch. To install simply run the NWC_Patch_6.exe and follow the on screen instructions. but i didnt know how to check if it had 6 on or not ,but you have answerd that for me,my disc says 1.05,so i need the patch.so thanks for that.

Just to Clarify, no disks with patch 6 on have been sent out as yet, when they do they will have V1.06 on them. If you have a disk with V1.05 on, you only need to install patch 6 as patch 5 is included, if you have a disk with no version number on, you need to install patches 5 & 6
patch6 is available at the moment from here, i have sent it to the d8233.org webmaster for upload, which im sure he will do soon as he can

Hi Baily9531.

The next message comes up as error contine
File: Trains\Trainset\NWC_101_Blue\NWC_101_DMBS_B.eng
Line 174

Click yes or no

Click on boxes, and screen goes blank. I have other games on and they work fine. Have just finished playing SCE no problems whatsoever. Messed around with all settings etc visual sound etc. Computer xp home pentium 4 3.0 x1950 pro.
and 2 GB RAM.
Hope you can help me out as I know this is a very good game and hopefully I can play it.

Regards

My guess is that it's a Bin lighting line and you don't actually have Bin installed.

When you get into MSTS, try pressing the F5 key several times. If it gives you the top half of the HUD and then the bottom half and then nothing on successive presses, you don't have Bin installed. If it gives you a whole lot of information on the left side of the screen on the third press, you have Bin.

Hi, will look into that now and get a fix if possible into patch 7, like Ian says though i think that is BIN related, try uninstalling BInpatch (details on how are in bin forum), then reinstalling BINpatch, i think it might be that cos the eng file has been adjusted after BIN has been installed for some reason its not picking it up and throwing an error. Like i say will look into it

Just looked into it and line 174 is a ) in one of the light statements, which of course have been set up to work with the stable Bin patch.
I would say try reinstalling bin patch and this should resolve it, non of the other light statements differ from this one, so its odd that its picking it up as a fault, i put it down to one of those MSTS & Bin thangs that is odd. Know its a pain to reinstall, but ive had reports that this resolves this issue.

Hallo

Thanks to both of you for replies. Would have emailed earlier, but internet wasn't working.
I have got the game up and running, have reduced settings as well as putting train store on.
I have not even put patch 6 back on and its running pretty reasonably. I will put bin patch on later.
However, a very good game and I am thoroughly enjoying it.
I presume as you said, bin patch somehow messed up the game.

That is not quite what they said. As far as I am aware NWC requires the Bin patch and it would appear that your Bin patch was not correctly installed given the fact you got error messages regarding the lights.
