Dear friends,
below the stations roof (Carlisle and Leeds) I use the S series of Xtraks.
This because when your train is on this track you don't see the rain and the snow like when you see inside a tunnel.
Moreover, the adhesion of S track (and all tunnel tracks) is less than the normal track, that's why the locomotives slip when they start or brake.
I hope everything is clear for you.

bye renzo.

I'm not very good at track laying in the route editor but manage
to relay a few yards at Leeds Wellington Station.

Result very realistic starting, slipping happening with less than 50%
regulator opening with taps closed pulling the reverser back to 40%
were needed to put it in check also closing regulator.

One thing that will be needed though is the Firedoors Must start in the
Closed position but can be opened as soon as activity is started.

Nice one Renzo.

Dear friends,
I have had a report for another bug.
If you have an error with no extended shape data for A1t0_2mStrt.s, you can download this file:
http://www.ildeposito.net/Files/Vari/A1t0_2mStrt.zip

bye, renzo.

I have tried to download this route which looks good, but when I try and open an activity, or go into Activity Editor, everything crashes. I have copied and pasted the files rather than unzipped them. I cannot find a BAT file.
I have read the posts here and followed advice which appears relevant, but no gain.
What am I, in my plodding way, missing here.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I had the same problem cured it by copying a BAT file from
another route that had one Skipton I think I used, it ran then.

Hi
If you have Route Riter, it can check the route for you.
If the missing textures/shapes etc are in other routes it will helpfully copy them across.

Cheers

Rick & Jon
Many thanks for your help. I am almost there now, but I get the message about the S file not opening, and I follow the advice given in the down load, copying the extra files into Global Shapes, but it doesn't solve the problem. The files are simply not there in the Global Shapes folder and I can't seem to make them appear. I am operating X tracks version 3.20
I have tried re-installing the whole route again, and the X tracks, but can't seem to get anywhere. Any suggestions would be helpful as I am probably missing something very obvious and simple, simple gut that I am.

Sorry
s. file is: Road2Lstrt5m.s

According to Route Riter, the following files are also missing:
road2l10deg.s
road2lo5deg.s
dirtroad2110deg.s

I don't understand why these files are missing, or how to get them.
Thanks for responding.

Hi Jon
Thanks again.
If the missing files are default files, does that mean my initial TrainSim installation didn't install them and do I have to do that install again?
Thanks
Michael
