Re: My Carlisle-Settle-Leeds Route
There are very few routes available for MSTS specifically designed for the pre-grouping era, so this one will be very welcome indeed. It is very enjoyable to see the different companies' stock - MR, LNWR, L&Y and GNR - in the excellent screenshots. And the route looks to be beautifully modelled. Congratulations, Renzo!

Re: My Carlisle-Settle-Leeds Route
Dear friends,
the route is finished. I have published it on my website. Now I'm trying to put it on UKTrainSim.
Bye, Renzo.

Anyone got it working just crashes MSTS out completly
when its all installed there seems to be some funny stuff
in shapes called OpenOoffice.org 1.1 Configuration file

Re: My Carlisle-Settle-Leeds Route
I downloaded it and it worked first time.
Nothing unusual in the Shape folder - just unneeded .thm files which I deleted.
The route looks good but the result is very similar to Pat's route.
Use of default buildings jar the eye.
The locos and coaches are OK but lack the fine detail we are used to these days.
Wagons are quite frankly crude. Mostly scans of out of period RTR models.
Best swap the stock with stuff from Pat's download or CD.

Re: My Carlisle-Settle-Leeds Route
Thanks for posting Ian, but still wont run here cannot even
open it up in Route or Actifity Editor I'm wondering if its down
to Vista? If delete it from the routes folder MSTS runs fine.
Shame coz I were really looking forward to this one starting from
Leeds and I have had all the route from that site and never had
any problems whats so ever.

Re: My Carlisle-Settle-Leeds Route
Hi Rick,
I've got Vista Home Premium and it works fine for me only thing train store says there is an error, and gives the option to procced just press yes and it will run fine, all I had to do was put the extra shapes in the global folder.
I must admit there is some problems with the loco's mine is the cabs, they just don't look right.
Apart fom that the route is first class especialy if you remember Renzo lives in Italy and if I remember right this is his first attempt at a British Route,he's done a couple of period Italian Routes.

Re: My Carlisle-Settle-Leeds Route
Try dragging the route folder from the zip window to your D drive routes folder rather than unzipping it from the program.
Probable a Vista permissions problem tho.

Re: My Carlisle-Settle-Leeds Route
Dear friends
I discovered a mistake in the file of the rolling stock LeSeCaRS.zip.
The folder that contains the engine cabs has the wrong name of CommonCab while Common.Cab is the correct one.
I apologize for the error.
Have fun, Renzo.
