Nice shots but I was expecting a peak and some MKIIs! But that is progress I suppose?! :cry:

very good. yes it is progress really considering the use of 3x150's would have made people happy back then, well except the bashers which is why i think alot of services went back to locohauled come 1988-89. i think i recall 47475 in transpennine livery on a rake of matching stock on a Llandudno-York service.

Why not after all it is the Transpennine express, unbelieveable yes, but that working did happen and was regular on the coast till a stock shortage brought back locohauled.

I know, Hull - Holyhead's ran as well with 150s. It was kinda of meant as a joke.

I know, shame on me. :oops: :lol: , my fav. drive along the NWC is "Hamilton", manual firing, 14 bogies on the back, 250 lb " boiler pressure, 20% regulator with 17% cut off. :D
