Yes, Making Tracks had to stop production of the addon due to a problem that arose during production.
Problem has been resolved and end of next week will see deliveries.
All who have pre-ordered it are getting an email about it.
If anyone from Making Tracks reads this, please don't worry about it and thanks for the email.

Does anyone know which cabs it has affected? Is it a case of them not being released on the CD but
are already available here to download as freeware?

It was the Class 47 cab. It brought up copyright issues and all 350 copies all ready had to be destroyed.bigdaveadams1 wrote:Does anyone know which cabs it has affected? Is it a case of them not being released on the CD but

Where's the posting from MT confirming the class 47 cab?

Re: Scottish Capitols Express delayed.
The thread discussing it is in the moderator topic dump having been reported. The situation has been resolved by Making Tracks updating the DVD and sending off for remastering and duplication. Unfortunately, this has cost them as acknowledged in their email to registered members such as myself and on their forums.

MT Wouldn't confirm which cab, however - they did say it was a Cab that was in fact the problem, due to copyrighting problems

Re: Scottish Capitols Express delayed.
It was the Class 47 Cabview, but as was requested in the original thread on the subject, please do not enter into further discussion about the Cab in question. Making Tracks were not aware of the issues regarding the cabview and once we were made aware of it, there was really no question of IF we should use it, more HOW we should get rid of it, having already sent the masters off for production.Making Tracks on 7th July 2009 at 16:25 wrote:
Just to keep you all updated on the SCE Release.
Due to an issue that was brought up over at UKTrainSim shortly after the CD's were sent to manufacture, we have had to pull the version mid-production and destroy the 350 of the CD's that had already been produced at cost to Making Tracks.
The new version of the CD been sent to the manufacturers today and should be back with us early next week for dispatch to all pre-order customers before the end of the week.
On behalf of Making Tracks, I can only apologise for the slight delay in getting the product out to you, but we felt that it was in the best interests of Making Tracks, and the original copyright holders for the cabs involved to pull the version previously sent.
Kindest Regards, Tony
In the end we decided that rather than issue a patch, it would be better to just scrap the CD's we had already produced and get new ones created with a different cab. When we contacted the CD manufacturer, they were part way through the job and it was stopped with 350 CD's created, which have now been shredded before leaving the factory.
A new CD was sent yesterday and it was received today and CD production is now back in full swing. They should be packaged before the weekend, and back to me next Monday/Tuesday. I hope this clarifies the situation and stops all the was it this, was it that.
Regards, Tony

Re: Scottish Capitols Express delayed.
At that point I will lock this thread since it serves no further purpose digging up the dirt. Making Tracks have done the right thing and also been good enough to come and explain what went on so please can we leave it at that.
There is already an announcement on the front page and as and when updates come through Matt or Pete can update the announcement.
