Thanks to Scott for making me aware of the lightning effect, a video featuring bits and bobs a few hundred yards north of The Sidings Hotel, Shipton.

Hi Darren,

Nice videos and looking forward to this route in due course.

Just curious how you have managed to get the 158 lights working properly in RW. I find in RW the lights are OK in Hedborough North but not in Newcastle to York. Therefore I was wondering if the 158 light problem is just restricted RS default routes in RW.

I find it hit and miss mate although they were AI services and that seems to have a bearing on the lights for me.

I am keeping it up mate! Reached a milestone on the route last week and the process is now moving forward, expect to hear more "concrete" information soon.

Some of you guys may or may not have seen the "news" over at the General Discussion forum. It is now all systems go and the light at the end of the tunnel is now shining brightly so here are some new screenshots, returning to the "then and now" format that was so well received when the project was first conceived. I would also like to thank everyone who has shown support and encouragement from the start, when my plan was to encourage somebody else to do it! A lot has happened since then and the finished product will be a damn sight more than "tracks and wires"
