Nothing new from what was shown last time mate, there is a little tiny bit of scenic work to do in that area. I will probably do that when the route is in final testing, on the operational side of things.

In what is a mega screenshot update, these shots are part of one large trainspotting scenario at York which was intended to be shown as a video. For some reason, under normal circumstances I was getting 40-50fps but on pressing the Fraps record button, it went down to 7-8fps, the first time I have seen such a dramatic drop. Never mind though, you can probably see what was intended through the medium of the screenshots.

A Grand Central HST bound for the capital arriving at York.

Image

As the Grand Central service leaves, a northbound NXEC service arrives.

Image

With the NXEC HST powering north, a TPE Class 158 arrives from Scarborough.

Image

The TPE service has a 4 minute wait at York so is generally given platform 4 in order to keep the main line clear.

Image

And here is the reason why, an NXEC southbound service approaches platform 5.

Image

With the TPE service still awaiting departure, in the distance, a sister DMU is approaching with a service to Scarborough.

Image

The forementioned service loads and unloads.

Image

And then departs on it's merry way to the seaside resort.

Image

Meanwhile, after the booked 4 minute wait, the road is given.

Image

And the service departs, bound for Liverpool Lime Street.

A Northern Rail service from Leeds arrives in platform 7.

Image

Passenger loading/unloading of the above mentioned service.

Image

A First GBRF Class 66 is routed through platform 5.

Image

An EMT service to St Pancras departs platform 6, one of 5 bay platforms currently in use.

Image

And passes a northbound AXC HST set.

Image

Passengers alighting from the AXC HST.

Image

Time to move on to the bridge in order to watch the set depart.

Image

Moments later a Voyager arrives from the other direction.

Image

And finally, after screeching to a halt, the Voyager starts to take on passengers.

Really nice shots, thanks a lot for the update, on the other hand, strange thing about FRAPS... such a drop is not normal.

Don't forget that fraps eats up gigabytes of disc space, if you have any old un's in the fraps folder get rid of them after you have converted them in movie maker of course :D

Thanks guys.

Martin, I never had anything stuck in the folder and have lots of disk space so that isn't a factor. I have noticed on another forum people that all of a sudden people are having problems with Fraps. Remember the video capturing software that is possibly part of the future of Railworks? Maybe there has been a change to that and it was implemented in the last update. Maybe it's coming soon? Who knows!
