Delete the Blueprints.pak from within the Class158Pack folder and you're done. That is for the 158 and the rest are practically the same method.
I am presuming the DVD installs into the same location as the download version.
Damn, already deleated rail sim off computer for railworks , deleted all add ons as well thinking ill be able to reload into railworks, guess ill have to wait for them to be repackage and download again for railworks , or buy again !rich0984 wrote:The easiest way, if you still have RS installed, to get locomotives (unfortunately not the scenarios) to work in RW is to copy C:\Program Files\Rail Simulator\Assets\S9BL to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets. Absolutly, the DVD is one of those "eco" disks, and I can see people damaging them trying to get them out of the box!dipper6 wrote:RW_Tools will also do it, I havent tried it but Mike Simpson gave that in a post in this forum.
BTW, I'm not keen on the quality of the actual DVD Disk, its very thin indeed.
It shouldn't be too much of a problem if the disc gets damaged though, in the sense that if the game is "Activated" via Steam then once this "Activation" has occured the game will be registered to your Steam account. Since the game is then registered to the Steam account you should be able to download it through Steam at any time and not have to rely on the DVD for reinstalls, etc...paulharvey wrote:Absolutly, the DVD is one of those "eco" disks, and I can see people damaging them trying to get them out of the box!dipper6 wrote:RW_Tools will also do it, I havent tried it but Mike Simpson gave that in a post in this forum.
