Are they including the branch? I thought they were just doing the mainline with none of the little branches.

According the most recent pics, there's not even any wires up.

Nah, they have no wires up...

I posted on the EB forums asking if they were included, and no-one from EB has answered the question... But they've answered other questions for other people!

The first 10 miles or so from Paddington to Airport Junction is electrified across the 4 lines, not just for Platforms 6 and 7 at Paddington (the Heathrow Express platforms), because they run the Heathrow Express trains on the fasts and the Heathrow Connect stoppers on the slows. From Airport Junction westwards its, of course, non-electrified.

The corresponding section of route in the RS version shows this, along with the heaps of pictures and videos from stations such as Ealing Broadway on the internet. It would be disappointing not to have that section electrified as it would be a great section to try out the MT's Heathrow Connect 360, as its perhaps the only Desiro in the pack without a suitable route to run it on.
