now tested the first time the gondola in railworks. the idea was to create the original "glitter laque" surface.
and i think it looks awesome in railworks! of course this is not the final result, must play a little bit with the shadows.

anyway, i wanna thank you g0fthick for your help! :) now i can begin to spray a little bit :)

Please tell us more..
where did you get those update's and how did you installed it. I also got the darkness problems,(like the sun isn't anywhere) and I started to lighten all my _sm texture files..

I was thinking about you're polyp. A challenge to let it animate in full operation! Nice work indeed.

hi!

THX for the comments.

@SAD

i reinstalled the plugins. i think the latest art plugins are from 2008? about the "darkness": i only was talking about the darkness on my trucks, it was
too dark, and the ambient light didn't reflect on the object. after reinstalling the plugins the problem was solved, i don't know how or why.
the darkness you talking about is the ambient darkness in railworks, this only can be fixed by RSDL. it is fact that the contrast between shadows and
highlights is too extreme in railworks. you can see this phenomen very good on some screenshots here. when you give an object a "stencilshadowfx", and use at the same time the "trainlightmapwithdiffuse" on your object, then the result in the game is too dark. this is why i actually don't use the "stencilshadowfx". in railsimulator this was no problem :roll: the polyp is not finished(lights, podium etc.). when everything is finished, then i can
think about animation :o
