I got the "DB101 crawling into my siding" bug as well. It's not a one-time glitch. (Cue major rant, which I'll save for a thread of it's own.)

As for assets not working when they're in the Kuju folder... that might just be a big clue right there! Probably Steam is interfering, so check if the files are even still there.
The key to knowledge is not to rely on others to teach you it.

I assumed that Steam would ignore any none default objects in the Kuju file structure, but it looks like that's not the case.

Please don't jump to conclusions.

Non-default assets copied and pasted to the RW Kuju folders should work fine but you have to delete that folder's blueprint.pak file after installation otherwise they won't show up in game. Reports elsewhere suggest that none of the assets in the Kuju folders, not even modified ones, have yet been "restored" by Steam.

Deleting the blueprint.pak fixed the problem. Thanks for that.

Easily done with the editor. Consider that your first step towards routebuilding.

I suggest you delve into Sections 1 and 2 in the Creator Manual (accessed from the Tools and Docs tab in the start window), create a new route and play around a little.

Then take a look here:

I note with satisfaction that the The Growler Group has fitted replicas grills to 37215

I think it would be possible to to do the same with the Railworks 37 as a child object. In fact, I might have a go myself.

I'm talking about the big grill cover to the rear of the cab door. I haven't seen one of those in over 35 years.

I've played RW for half an hour and I like what I've seen. But, there are some bugs and things to be fixed. Hope this thread will be useful to the RS.com team to identify and fix them.

List of bugs I've seen so far:

-When you change from one cab to the other in the 37, the driver doesn't.

Regards.
We already have that functionality in RS but nobody seems to use it except Richard Scott and I on the Standard Stock and tram.

Can you elaborate on this for me please Darren. I seem to be being a tad thick!! (not unusual  )

I can appreciate what you were displayiong in the video's, but never noticed this feature "in game"?

Re the drop down list(s) in the Route Editor. I haven't seen the phenomenon Overmarze describes but I have noticed items with long descriptions now overlap the scroll bar and you can't see it to move down the list.

IMHO these pullout windows should be scaleable and even better include a thumbnail view (though I guess the latter is more of a wish than a bug).
