Hi Folks,

one point for the wishlist:

it would be nice to have Event Markers in scenarios. These Event Markers could start , stop or resume action of AI Traffic. That would raise ihmo the possibilities and would be more flexible instead of this timedriven horror. Later on this system could be advanced with possibilities to switch junctions or set signals :)

There is now coupling slack between steam engines and their tenders - this is incorrect as they had rigid bar couplings.

Because I expect the accountants said "That's it, testing over, time to make some money!"

There are plenty of examples of floating loft objects, and normal objects on the default routes. That is an obvious one though!

The glow in the dark car park decals still need fixing.

I used to work in games based quality assurance, I reckon I know what would have happened to me if I let that one pass through!

Not sure if it;s a bug or not.#

On the Fictional german route i was doing the activity that involves the black 5, after going into the yard to get more coal an DB-101 and coaches came to a crawl and stopped at the cross over, that you need to go over to get back to your coaches, is this a one off? as i haven't been able to re-test the activity yet.

But got to say loving the new Steam effects :)
Rising Storm -Name is in the credits :D - To Do scenario, where you go along at 50mph in a Pendo? Who would play it?
Anyone want to help in Play Testing future Rising Storm/ Ro2 Maps? If so please PM me.

Heh there are some floating trees remaining in most routes still. Almost as if the vegetation was constructed with KRStool2 (yeah I need to update that.. some time) - but it isn't frequent enough to cause major irritation for me at least. The double signals (one behind the other) on the fictional German route did look funny though. For a minute I was scared thinking "Oh no, the dispatcher doesn't work right so they had to hack some weird signal arrangements together!" but then realized it's just a one off thing.

Realism seems very good overall, I love being able to see more distant terrain now. And the route object placements can be fixed manually (with some tweaking) if necessary.

Cheers,

I don't know how they managed this one, but a quick check of the Newcastle-York for missing files brought up:-

Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\scenery\clutter\containes01.bin
Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\scenery\clutter\containes02.bin
Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\scenery\Procedural\1_fakeroad3.bin

I had seen the last one in the past, but the first two are spelling mistakes, the files are containers01.bin and 02.bin so I can only assume the route was built with early versions of the shapes, then someone fixed the spelling of the shapes not realising that they had already been placed in the routes.

Hmmm! I now discover an anomally: if the engine is running and you stop it by pressing 'Z' the fan rotates but stops again when the engine is restarted. Additionally, while stationary, there is a continued air release sound until the brakes are released and the throttle is advanced and returned and 10% brakes applied and back.

Also an original Class 37, or EE type 3 as use old folks used to call them, with radiator grill mesh in place(they were all removed in the late '60, earlier '70s for ease of maintenance)

I'm talking about the big grill cover to the rear of the cab door. I haven't seen one of those in over 35 years.

Three scenarios in the default Hagen-Siegen route have no ScenarioProperties.xml files as well as one in the Oxford-Paddington route (I have not checked the others). I discovered this while testing RW_Tools and have changed the program to advise the user of this anomaly.

I copied over my foundry route to Railworks, and all was well, except for these 3 reskins that didn't work.

grey van, grey mineral wagon and my own rusty grey mineral wagon

The one thing they have in common is there are all located in the Kuju folder
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\railworks\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\RailVehicles\Freight

I've no idea what the problem is, but I'll look into it.
