Hi Adam and thanks for asking. I'd say that "formal" findings need to be posted as such, preferably on the wiki/support page, i.e. "We looked into X and we found Y; detailed technical analysis follows", etc. Notification of updates could be on the RS.com front page as "news" and via the regular newsletter. Maybe a "tweet" to say that stuff has been added to the wiki, etc.? Could do it on the Steam community pages, maybe?RSAdam wrote: Incidentally, if we do find trends in these such occurances (2Dmap and Driver guide initiated crashes while driving) does anyone have any preference as to how we should feedback our findings?
Agreed. For example, I'm creating a scenario in Wales & Borders which is very, very scenery heavy. I can run the player train through one particularly dense section of scenery with only a few stutters. However, if I add even one AI train in this section, I get the proc error. Slightly discouraging.theokus wrote:Have this error a few time....
IMHO the program can not coop with some heavy load > a lot of decals and other scenery.
Jev, have just asked a question pertaining to this very same issue in this thread, btw.jevon wrote:Agreed. For example, I'm creating a scenario in Wales & Borders which is very, very scenery heavy.
