Ive come up with a solution if its the same problem.

I can easily make my route crash but then i have it working again.

Hi Adam and thanks for asking. I'd say that "formal" findings need to be posted as such, preferably on the wiki/support page, i.e. "We looked into X and we found Y; detailed technical analysis follows", etc. Notification of updates could be on the RS.com front page as "news" and via the regular newsletter. Maybe a "tweet" to say that stuff has been added to the wiki, etc.? Could do it on the Steam community pages, maybe?

i read through 9 pages of this lookin for an some sort of solution and nothing could just be I have bad luck with software espcialy expensive bought win 7 ultimate 64 (im running build 7100 64) and it wont install when i boot from cd but thats a diff topic anyway my error is when i press the start button ive went into the install directory and tryed running from railworksproc.exe and railworks.exe i downloaded the most up to date nvidia drivers 2 days ago ive tried xp sp3 and sp2 compatibility 98, 2000, vista ect... ive tried moving files and installing files and deleting files and and and and im hoping its not a case of pebkac that would just suck side note i work on trains and have the extream pleasure of keeping them in working order and rw/rs is just about as close to the real thing as you will get its just the sound is a little off on the engines its close but noticable

Have this error a few time....
IMHO the program can not coop with some heavy load > a lot of decals and other scenery.

Agreed. For example, I'm creating a scenario in Wales & Borders which is very, very scenery heavy. I can run the player train through one particularly dense section of scenery with only a few stutters. However, if I add even one AI train in this section, I get the proc error. Slightly discouraging.
