Offer information available

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Offer information available

Post by grahamwd »

Heads up. Offer information available on Railsimulator.com site. Looks a good offer to me for either STEAM or DVD delivery.

It is, this hopefully will put to bad some of the bad comments. I think they have gone over and above what people expected.

I presume the back cover is the one with the licence key on it?

I have my doubts.... again.
Have a look at the Trade-UP.

It's all abouts £ and £ and UK-like.
I have no Visa but I use PayPal.

I don't use or have cheques

Thanks RS.com, it's a much better offer than I was expecting. I'll be going for the DVD unless the reports from the Steam 'early adopters' are horrendous!

It doesn't say, that you have to own RS to get the discount on steam. All you had to do, was register on railsimulator.com before 1. June. If you wants the boxed version, you have to have RS, if you wants the discount.

I don't even have PayPal!!! What I'll be sending is a Sterling Draft (I live in Ireland). You can get these at your bank. It's just like a cheque and they can cash it in the UK.

Which brings up a question, is this postal address in the UK? Oxon? I've never heard of it and the country is not part of the address. Also, is this FREE POST outside of the UK? And what happens if I post off my manual back cover and it goes missing in the post? I think this is a bit of a crazy way of ordering to tell you the truth!

Ah my good 'old' Irish friend again
I don' care but a cheque means extra money over here....

Paul, the "truth" could be they don't trust us...hahaha.

Perhaps there will be better options from & by the 3th of July.
I do hope I'll find the box in our stores here.

And a nicer date for the US would be the 4th of July

Oxon is another name for Oxfordshire.

Paul,

The address is a UK one, Oxon is the abbreviation for Oxfordshire. Sorry but I don't know whether Freepost works for mail posted outside the UK.
