RailWorks Box Shots

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Thanks for the preview Matt, they certainly look much better than the 'Rail Simulator' DVD case sleeve and this time they're realistic, much more suitable for a Simulator (IMO).

I'm going to wait about two weeks after the release just to see the responses of everyone and then buy it

If the box is anything to go by then this could look pretty cool.

It does also use the in game graphics as part of the box design. Can only cross my fingers and toes!

yh same here but when rail simulator came out in october two years ago i waited about 4 weeks after the release to see if it was worth it to buy and to be honest it was a 50/50 option i made because there have been many bugs with rs but hopefully this simulator will be fantastic

A good shot of the Deltic running on one engine. I assume that it's the wrong 'physics' carried over from RailSim rather than the facility to start the engines individually . Doesn't fill me with much confidence that the other physics shortcomings will have been addressed but I live in hope. I thought that today might have brought the definitive list of what's new / improved /fixed in RailWorks.

Indeed, im currently holding fire on how to get it atm untill RS.com release more details about how they are selling it.
The box looks brilliant! Now I just hope the DVD from RS.com isnt released alot longer after the download.

Yes is a really good Shot of the Nightride of Deltic. It's real atmosphere.
I wish in the Game loks the Light so bright.
And Black Colour is cool.

Hi Andy, the deltic is setup as per prototype in that it runs on one engine, with the second starting up at 30m.p.h. This was apparently common practice.
