Hi all,
I'm working on something and i have a question that may seem stupid.
I am wondering is it possible to do this. When you throttle up say to 50 per cent or whatever value. it has a delay of a few seconds or whatever instead of immediately reacting? So instead of the train moving as soon as you throttle up it takes a few seconds to respond.
Is there a way to make this delay possible??
Thanks for the help!
SORRY THIS QUESTION IS ACTUALLY FOR MSTS

Re: Throttle Question
Aint it so in real life too ??? You have to build up some power to move such a big metal block

Re: Throttle Question
I'm no expert here, but (combustion-electic engine wise) if you throttle up it takes a while for the engine to build up speed. This will have a direct result in the power output of the generators. On the way down, you can just cut off the power to the traction motors.

Re: Throttle Question
I thought MSTS was supposed to be perfect and superior to RS in every way?IarnrodEireann082 wrote:Its something along those lines but i want to try and implement it into MSTS!

Re: Throttle Question
Well on in fairness RS doesn't have a delay either so they are equal on this front!

Re: Throttle Question
After making the effort to model field diverts, I'm quite surprised. I still can't blow the traction motors now matter how hard I try so I guess they've got some work to do.

Re: Throttle Question
Hi
You can try
MaxForce ( 650.65kN )
MaxContinuousForce ( 550kN )
RunUpTimeToMaxForce ( 10.0 )
MaxDieselLevel( 720gal )
MaxVelocity ( 74mph )
MaxCurrent ( 1800A )
Not quite what you want.
Cheers
Jon
