Little bit of an odd one,
Route Editor seems to crash a fair bit on my Vista installation anyway, however whenever I try and change the terrain height in route editor, i.e. manually set an areas height to a certain figure, I get the RE 1.4 has stopped working and i get booted out, anyone else had this and found a soloution to it?
Cheers Chris

Are you running the BIN patch Chris, and if so what version?
Virtual Navvy for North West England & Metrolink.

Yes running it with 1.7.0519
Does this affect RE? and if so do I need to uninstall the patch?

Uninstall the patch and see if you get the same problem.
If that is OK, then try BIN patch 1.7.0929
I've found that to be the most stable for use in RE. However, I'm running XP. Vista could give different results
