Hi
Just seen on Keighley Worth Valley site
Leander for June Gala
It has now been confirmed that No. 45690 'Leander' will be one of the guest locomotives at our Summer Steam Gala on 26th, 27th & 28th June.
The current intention is to use the locomotive on main line shuttles between Keighley and Settle Junction on Saturday and Sunday, and on a Saturday evening train to Ribblehead. There will be a SECOND visiting locomotive in use on the Worth Valley branch, details of which will be confirmed as soon as possible. A leaflet and booking form is being produced and advance ticket sales will be available shortly.
Finally a proper engine to do the run. Lets hope it has better luck than that Southern engine (30777 "Sir Fail-A-Lot) last year. lol
I definitely will participate.

Re: KWVR Summer Steam Gala
Indeed. How about a side-by-side pairing of 45690 Leander, with 45596 Bahamas? That would make a good crowd-puller.

Re: KWVR Summer Steam Gala
I suppose a silly diesel will be on back for the return back to KWVR - unless the other visiting loco is main line certificated.
Pity 90733 isnt allowed on main line
