Hi all
Can someone please help me. I have bought a 3.4 Pentium 4 with 2GB RAM and Sapphire HD 3850 AGP Graphics Card.
Can someone tell me what drivers they are using if they are playing MSTS which run smooth.
The drivers I am currently using seem don't seem to be correct for smooth play.

Its probably nothing to do with the graphics card drivers. The msts game engine is almost 9 years old now and will run on almost anything. You are probably seing "stuttering" which is caused by the delay in loading data from your hard disk. You will probably have to turn down your settings a bit. Try setting the quantity of sounds to medium and all other graphics settings down two notches. Turn off shadows and specular lighting.
Using the Bin patch, if you arent already, will help with memory management and using trainstore will reduce the amount of data msts has to load and so make more memory available.

Hi,
Also try playing 'Off Line' (My internet conection almost stops MSTS)
And turn off/disable any program not needed with the Task Manager (My browser and anti virus program keep trying to access the internet while offline)
Remember to turn the Anti Virus back on.
