Hi all,
I have a problem, unfortunately. I installed London and South East there just a yesterday. And after i started it MSTS just wouldn't start up. It showed the loading screen for a second and then into a slight windowed mode and i got the message - Microsoft has found and error and must close trainsim.exe. And then you get the option to Send or Don't Send. We have all seen that window if you use windows. Anyway i have had this problem before and i know it is nothing to do with London and South East. IT is to do with MSTS and a bug. I have always just went to the bother and re-installed everything. I am wondering is there a way around re-installing everything because i am sick of doing that and i wish not to do that.
Well thanks in advance and hopefully i will get an answer i want to hear and not just - 'RE-INSTALL'
Thanks,
Start-Up Problem

Hi IarnrodEireann082,
.
Most things with MSTS do not require a Re-install and can be repaired with advice from members of the Forum, just Post what problem/error messages you are getting and someone will try to help you.
If you make a 'Back up' of MSTS Before you make any changes you should never have to Re-install again, if things go wrong, delete the faulty Train Simulator folder and install your back upI am wondering is there a way around re-installing everything because i am sick of doing that and i wish not to do that.

Re: Start-Up Problem
For the tsection just download this and read the instructions - it is a simple case of copying the existing file to somewhere safe and replacing it with the new one in the download.
