From what I've heard 60163 will be moving earlier, but another loco might take it's place in the consist.

Hi

http://www.uksteam.info has now got timings up for this movement. Tornado will not be going with the 2 A4s.

Links to the timings are below.

Tornado - York to Barrow Hill Tuesday 24th March - http://www.uksteam.info/tours/t09/t0324p.htm

2 x A4s - York to Barrow Hill Tuesday 31st March - http://www.uksteam.info/tours/t09/t0331p.htm

I will be seeing the 2 A4s as will be a good picture to take.

Hi

Just been looking at uksteam.info and noticed that the loco movement for 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley from NYMR to York has been cancelled.

Does this mean that it will not be double heading with 60009 Union of South Africa tomorrow (31 Mar 09) from York to Barrow Hill and more importantly will it be attending Barrow Hill this weekend.

Any info will be appreciated. cheers

Interesting. There was a chance that the two A4s wouldn't have been double heading, but running 'HST style', top and tailing the support coaches, but that might well be off now.
