Thank you gentlemen for your input, I have just got back from a week away, which is why I have not replied earlier. I have gone back to the 3DC model and changed the translucency to transparency with a priority of 1 and the problem seems to have gone away - it worked for the Wrexham gates too, as they suffered from the same trouble. Maybe I will remember for next time!

I have done some work on the Eaton Straight Mile, not quite presentable yet, and the line within the park, so here is Katie in the early days of the line crossing one of the drives,

I hate my internet connection not allowing me to see these photos, im sure the routes excellent and i await it with pleasure, got nice wee soundset i might use for the locos

You needn't have worried Andrew, the wall looks just fine to me

I have spent ages on the Hall buildings, including most of the ones that still survive, but as a rest from the less exciting bits I have tried a, "might-have-been".

Heywood never suceeded in getting any commercial interest in his minumum gauge concept, but the smallest standard Bagnall (the 4.5 x 7) is a little bigger than Katie and smaller than Shelagh or Ursula, so would make a quite reasonable 15in engine. A number were built for 18in gauge, and these retained the usual inside frames, but I have reasoned that as they put outside frames on the 7" engine when building for 18in gauge, Bagnall might well have gone to outside frames in this case too. The loco has made a successful trial trip from Balderton, but people have just realised that it won't go in the shed.

There has been a little progress on this, as I have just finished Eaton Hall (the previous one) , but I have been doing a little on the Ravenglass and Eskdale project for the past few weeks. My part on that is nearly done, so I will be getting back to the Heywood stuff. I am not sure whether to wait until both Duffield Bank and Eaton Hall are done, or to release Eaton Hall first.

Personally, I'd advocate going ahead and releasing Eaton Hall first...but it must be said that's mainly because I'm eager to get my hands on it!

Any ideas as to release date? i have a friend who is related to sir arthur, and is dying to see the locos and eaton hall.
