This has made me extremely happy. So happy, in fact, that I think this calls for some ridiculous smilies.

Excellent! Fortunately we can make this Little Giant couple to Heywood stock without the awful looking plank on the back of the tender.

Does anyone know if a Class 10 has ever made it to Dalegarth, the scale wheels have a tendency to fall between the non scale track.

Fantastic :D I believe Little Giant has made it to Dalegarth - certainly the class 20 Princess Elizabeth has...

I have spent some time trying (with some help from friends) to work out the precise layout and ups and downs of the Duffield Bank Railway, and have now reached the point where the whole of the upper figure of eight is laid and the line down to the hairpin. I have terraformed a mile or 2 of the Derwent valley as well, so that the passengers have got something to look at. This scene should be recognisable:

Last Saturday I was able to get to the Steam at Eaton event and took the opportunity to have a good look around as much of the scenery as I could get to. Here is the revised Eaton Hall terminus - the clock tower has not been vandalised, I just haven't finished it!

I like it a lot! I was fortunate in being able to go to last year's Eaton Hall event, which was thoroughly enjoyable. Photos at http://steamandheritagerailways.fotopic ... 66927.html - I look forward to being able to re-create some of them in virtual!

Here is a bit of the old line where the train no longer takes you.

I have done some more work on the Cuckoo's Nest branch, and here are 2 shots of Ursula with a short train.
