Another popular Train Simulator with the notable highlight of being freeware! Also note the new OpenBVE version with many new features - well worth a look!

I installed OpenBVE and The Northern Line (openBVE version) on my sons machine yesterday and can confirm it works an absolute treat - where BVE4 didn't run at all (well, unless you count running in 256 colour compatibility mode at 2fps 'running' :) ).

Definitely recommended.

Some nice new features in there too that i've seen just in the first few minutes like the "departure expected in..." and the stopping position indicator which I recall was in BVE2 and gone in BVE4.

BVE runs but not properly? after i select a route the background goes white and various shapes flash up then i get an error pane with lots of shapes and textures missing? So no it doesn't work on my version of vista!
