Ah! OK, PM is short for Personal (or Private) Message. Near the top of the forum pages, there's a line with text;

User Control Panel ( x new messages ) ............

This should now show that you have 1 ( or more ) messages. If you click on that link it'll take you to the message.

Cheers

Sure. Anyone ever thought of doing the three railcars that the SMR had?

Yes......

Note that Doug has recently posted that he doesn't expect the route to be finished for a while, so you'll have to be patient. What he has shown so far looks really good though.

On the main subject of this (rather old) thread, I have most of an SMR diesel done, apart from a credible cab-view (*). If anyone looking in has any pictures inside a cab - ie of the control panel - that I could use, I'd be grateful. Also anything with the nameplates for 'Yeti' and 'George' ............

* It's been hanging around for a while - I seem to have a lot of difficulty with the cab-view editor - only lets me make one change at a time without hanging up completely, Very frustrating.

Cheers

Hi John

Glad you're making some progress....

As you've indicated, I'm still working on the route....well to be exact, I've not been working on it over the past couple of months, but I am intending to get bacl on with the build once I have the next three or four weeks out of the way. I have several things I need to get sorted out first, but once I get some free time...I'll be getting on with things.

When I'm happy to release it!

And that's not a sarcastic answer. I don't have a timetable. No deadlines, no schedules.....no pressures!

And a reason I don't give estimates.....say I said "I hope to have xxxxx finished in a couple of months.", then someone's guaranteed to post after two months and a day "Why haven't you released xxxxx?"
