Hi Phil,

You could be right, but at the bottom of that page it says last update 6th January 2008 (1/6/2008 is in American date form I presume).
Problems with or comments about this Site? E-mail Joe Smith Or Charles Stagg

Last updated 1/6/2008
It may be that they have not kept that page in line with their new 'set up' with getting access to Conbuilder. I have just been to their web site and the Conbuilder download is there, but is useless of course without being an Authorised user.

Perhaps Charles or Joe will read this and comment.

Hi Phil,

I have just visited their site again this morning, if you go to their Conbuilder Forum Home Page (I'm assuming you are an 'Authorised' user), then select 'view new posts' and then select 'Conbuilder', there it is large as life. I have actually just downloaded the latest version 3.2.6 from there, which I have been meaning to do now for some time.

I have not given the 'addresses' as I'm unsure whether this will give unauthorised 'Users' access (something I don't want to be 'Guilty' of), when of course Joe and Charles have gone to some length to prevent this. :-?

I hope Joe or Charles will comment on the CD situation as they are the guys to actually confirm whether you can still 'initially' purchase Conbuilder by e-mail/download or that it is now only available by CD, as they are the ones who actually organise the Authorisation that is required to be able use Conbuilder.

First off for anyone worried about adding customs to receive a cd, WRONG, I PAY FOR THAT. As far as desiro5 goes, he welched on me, so no more support for him, same goes for anybody else who wants a second copy of a program and expects to get it for nothing. 1 PC means 1 PC. Sorry folks, one too many thieves have already passed around the good version of ConBuilder.

As to downloads, if a person e-mails me, they can get a download, it is no longer from a webpage however, each copy of ConBuilder and MSTSmanager is made on an individual basis. There have been several people now who have got new systems and also received a second license for ConBuider, just that I want to know what happended to the old PC so that I know You are still only using it one one. I can not stand a liar or a thief, if the shoe fits as the saying goes, wear it don't go saying that I did not support You, I do, if You are an honest and upright person, ask anyone who has needed personal help. Since I posted it on Train-sim, here it is again. If I see any version of ConBuilder on any site it will be asked to be removed, my purogative as the owner of the software.

Hope this cleared some things up. Oh yea, phone or e-mail or any other means as far as personal support goes, it is just that a phone call comes from Your end and only if the other means did not work.

Thanks MIke, we definitely agree on the donation thing, it never worked.

One more comment, I have had people say "Why should I pay for ConBuilder?" Well to make it quick and simple, when You are done with Your work week, do you tell the man giving you Your paycheck "No, I don't want it, I loved working here so no pay excepted or expected?"

As far as giving out the Private Forum Link, don't even, We will delete Your account in less time than You can say Your name. Once You have been deleted, don't expect to get back on again, even if You re-purchase the programs.

I think the agressiveness of the post just sums up the company.

you are ruining what is just meant to be a hoby.

and no, I did not "welch" on you. I had pc problems which in the end required too reinstall of windows, having used the wrong disc on the first one.

either way i'm running a new pc now - which would of cource require ANOTHER licence.

i'm not supprised people pirate your program. your so . at selling it what do you expect? sympathy?
i realise your arent british, but i'm sending this into watchdog - its just appaling.

As the original question has been answered, I am going to lock this before it turns into another one of those threads.
