Multi-Electrification Route (formally '3rd Rail Test Route')

Post by SteelixB »

Two screenshots of my new route. I don't know if it will be available in the future, depends how it goes and if there will be a demand for a 3rd rail fictional route.

This is a picture of Buffy500's 377 at a station. I haven't picked a name yet.

Well, it has similarities with Basingstoke, or possibly Woking. I'll have one please :)

I'd like a route like this just so I photo my southern stock on somewhere other than some stupid AC route....

At last - someone doing somewhere sensibleto run SR EMU's (and 33/73's) - beats having Connex Activities working out of Doncaster! Count me in!!!!

also at high detail there are lots of trees at the other side of the station (the side faced in the second image). I forgot to turn up the detail before taking the screenshots. I can take another in the RE showing this along with other shots of the route. I think that part in the screenshots so far has the most detail so far

Looks good, but can we have a bit more jpg compression in future please - those pics are huge for 640x480!

Erm, can we have fewer digs about AC routes please before I go off on one about Southern Trams?

Seriously though this does succeed in looking "Southern", and will be a boon as I must admit to getting a little tired of using the Manningtree Branch and Caldervale as surrogate Southern lines. Just out of interest, how long is the route?

pretty short at the moment, 3 stations, quite close together. 2 Stations will be updated soon, so screenshots of them coming. All together, I think the route is about 2 - 3 miles long.
