Latest one from me. Topsides around 90% completed. Provisional textures - will be finished in BR Green.

Yes, thanks Jon. I'm pretty slow at modelling though, so at times I feel I'm busy doing very little. Anyway, after another couple of hours, it now has a nameplate...

Thanks everyone - I really wanted to have a go at this class as it's one of my favourites.

You'll probably get both - but not with a Lemaitre chimney, I'm afraid. Just my preference but I don't think it looks right on this class.

As ever Danny, brilliant piece of work. The Aurthurs are nice locos. Can I suggest, 30454 Queen Guinevere, 30736 Excalibur & 30740 Merlin, if you plan on doing several? Please.
Never mind if you have your own selection Danny, just a suggestion. :D

This is the current state. I haven't made the alpha channels as yet, but not a lot more to add before tackling the rods and animation - and then final texturing. This one is a "Scotch Arthur", so I can use the tender from the N15X with minor tweaks.

Next up I plan to do a "Urie" Arthur - "Maid of Astolat", also in BR Green.

Then an "Eastleigh" Arthur - "Sir Melaeus de Lile" - which will be in Bulleid Black and needs a new tender modelled.

These are the ones I really want to do. Possible others I thought of were "Sir Lamiel" in Maunsell Green and "Merlin" as an oil burner - this would mean modifying the tender and would be in Southern Malachite Green. But I'll do the three to start with Geoff, and then see how it goes....

Looking really good Danny, brilliant :)

I've got a plan for the Watercart tender if you need it, it's from an Ian Beattie drawing of the LSWR Paddlebox class that was in the Railway Modeller. :D

Thanks,John. I think I should be OK though as I have several photos of King Arthurs fitted out as oil burners. Basically the coal bunker was replaced by a tank, but electric lighting and tubular ladders were added to the rear of the tender.
