Unfortunately it is no longer available, but Making Tracks is are planning to release the XC voyager soon.

In the meantime the closest you can get is XC class 170 or Virgin 220/221.

Well, in all honesty - the XC HST wasn't really olden days... It's more a modern day thing =P

If you want an Olden Time HST for something like this, it would be best to go for the Virgin HST's or BR HST's

I wouldn't class the XC HST as "old-time", as it's still in service.

Well, there's a payware HST from MT which includes both Virgin and XC versions. There may well be a freeware model on this site - using the "search" function will tell you.
There is no XC voyager at present that I am aware of.

Oh great, thats a right pain in the...... :x

I'm about to release a few activities which require the XC Voyager too. Looks like i'll have to re-test them all, using one of the Virgin one's I have instead.

(Any idea why it's not available?)

You could have quite a wait for the MT voyager - I'm not entirely too sure of it's status at present, but I don't think it's particularly high on their schedule at present - they've got 1 route and a couple of other expansions etc to get out.

Does anybody actually know why the XC voyager was withdrawn and will the MT ones be free?

no idea I'm afraid - reading the readme suggests that permission was obtained - maybe Dave Babb (original model author) could shed some light, or failing that Peter Leadbetter who did the reskin.

As to the MT models, who knows at this point in time - the Virgin model is free, so who knows - as a single model, it wouldn't really feature as a stockpack as such - unless a few more companies start to run Voyagers.
