You want atmosphere? I think I can help there...

I took all these pics myself - please don't upload them anywhere else...

41241 runs round its train at Oxenhope, October 1985

45 117, York, November 1983

HSTs always looked clean in BR days!

Another class 504 at night, this time calling at Whitefield in December 1982.

Newcastle east end, March 1985.

York station looking south, November 1983

A Calder Valley unit in a bay at York, March 1985.

40 022, Preston, March 1983

An HST climbs Lickey Bank, March 1992

Moor Row station, Cumbria, May 1986

End of the line! Tamworth High Level, December 2001

Now a few more recent digickle ones:

Ready for the road! York December 2007

The pocket rocket visits Derby!

On the same evening - a Midland Mainline 'Meridian' at rest.

Northbound HST - again at Derby.

Sir Nigel Greasgun arrives at Pickering

Knaresborough viaduct, 2007

66 650 playing hide-and-seek amongst the trees on the Wychnor Jc - Lichfield goods-only line

Be careful crossing the line: Lichfield Trent Valley High Level

End of the line: Lichfield Trent Valley again.

Hope you enjoy
