Ffestiniog 70`s Rail tours

Post by stephenjrhodes »

I remember in about 1975-76 going on a trip from Stockport ( May have started from Crewe) to Kyle of Lochaish Scotland .
It was on a friday night in either March or April arriving at inverness Saturday morning and on to Kyle of lochaish and return to Stockport on Sunday.
I just wanted to know if anyone else was on the trip because I wondered it they know what number was the Class 40 that hauled the Train

All my old books and Railway records was damaged in storage 12 years ago thats why i can`t give an exact date or time

Cheers
