06,40 Plymouth to Aberdeen

Post by INTERCITY »

Here are some screenshots of the activity I'm doing for Paddington to Penzance,06,40 Plymouth to Aberdeen as far as Bristol Temple Meads

43001/03 cross country HST awaits departure at Plymouth with the 07;25 Manchester voyager in the background

Before departure EWS 66159 passes with a coal train

Cross country 0640 departs on time

passing Ivybridge

Arrive at Totnes 1 minute late

Recovery time allows for an on time arrival at Newton Abbott

We pass a local stopper at Teignmouth

Then sweep round the wall

Passing Dawlish

Sun is shining on cross country today as we are making good time

And now approaching Exeter St Davids

Into the platform

Green light means on time departure from Exeter

At Tiverton we pass the 06;46 FGW Bristol to Penzance service

Arriving into Taunton at 08;04

43001 awaits departure

Powering away from Taunton next stop is Weston Super Mare

Over Cogload Junction

We pass a 143 at Bridgwater on a Bristol to Taunton service

We've now slowed for Uphill Junction where we turn left to call at Weston Super Mare

Back onto the mainline at Worle Junction

One of the few Cross country services to call at Yatton with the 08;40

Now at Nailsea and Backwell, due to short platform passengers should join the rear 4 coaches of the train

Away from Nailsea now fast into Bristol

A case of "the new and the old" as we pass the 220 working the 0844 service to Plymouth at Flax Bourton tunnel

At Bedminster we pass the 0800 Cardiff - Taunton service

Train now approaching Bristol Temple Meads

As seen here also

Arrived at Bristol Temple Meads

Also just arrived the 0700 Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads in reverse formation

I hopre you enjoyed my run from PLymouth to Bristol,I'm hoping to upload this activity very soon,I just have to put the finishing touches on it then we should be good to go

Fantastic, eagerly awaiting this.
One minor quibble, in your second the shot the 66 is hauling HTVs, which arent around on the network today. Maybe you could change them for another, more suitable wagon, not only for the time period but for region too?
Otherwise brilliant!
