Quite strange..
I created a activity for GE and when waiting along the platform at Ldn Liv Strt. after 30 seconds I get the message "activity ended, car derailed".
I can I find out what on earth went wrong?

Re: Train derails when standing along platform
Hi ProRail and welcome to the Forum,
This is usually caused by an AI traffic consist in the Activity colliding with another and can be difficult to find.
Try running in AE with the 'Play' button to see if you can spot a problem with an item of AI colliding with another at the error time (diamond crossings and running into the rear are often causes) or try disabling one AI Traffic consist at a time that are running at the error time until the problem clears (that should be the problem consist), then re-instate the others one at a time, checking everything is OK after Each addition.
Its a long process sometimes to sort this problem out.

Re: Train derails when standing along platform
Okay... I'll guess I have to make the trafic pattern an awfull lot more basic then and gradually increase the numbers of trains. First testruns were great whith a service in front of me wich had a loss of power... cousing a lot of double yellow end yellow signals for me... wich is much better and challenging then the standard "steady as she goes" green signals.

Re: Train derails when standing along platform
The first question is "Does this happen at exactly the same time each time ?". If the answer is Yes then it is definitely AI related and caused, as was suggested above by an AI collision.
In your case, just 30 seconds in, it shouldn't be too difficult to see what happens. Key the time in that you get the problem into Activity Editor, enlarge the map and then have a good look around at AI services that cross each other. Either that or look out for services that start at that time (if there are any) and see if they are being placed on top of others that are already running.
It doesn't necessarily follow that it is the train in front of you that is causing the problem so, fingers crossed, you can keep this in.
