Trainz and MSTS
I have acquired Trainz and also updated with service pack 3, I am interested in other's views of the two sims, I prefer MSTS but have 6 months experience of using it, and about 6 days with Trainz. Both sims have good and bad points, I like putting together activities in MSTS, long runs with lots of trains and tight schedules, and I like the steam content, I recently downloaded a modified cabview for Scotsman, it is so much better to drive from the cab and still see the track ahead.so you can see where you are driving. I like the way you can move the views about in Trainz, more versatile in this respect than MSTS also route downloads are smaller, I hope that Trainz will improve over time, but take into consideration it is half the cost of the original MSTS price. MSTS has been greatly improved by the add ons on sites like this one, thanks to all who share their work with those of us who lack their ability.I for one appreciate it.

I have been using Trainz since its release date via the Internet, and although it is great fun building rotes , which is very easy compared to MSTS. Without a save fuction in Driver I lost interest and now spend 99% of time on MSTS. It seems to have a good future if Auran release the add ons as promised, and with a bit of luck the save function may be back with Ultimate Trainz which is released this Xmas.
It needs a lot more UK stuff to make it interesting, but this will take time.
