I tried to log on to the american site today (http://www.train-sim.com) and all I get is some EAA site instead. Anyone know whats going on?

Looks like Nels might have got his domain names mixed up or something.CaldRail wrote:I tried to log on to the american site today (http://www.train-sim.com) and all I get is some EAA site instead. Anyone know whats going on?

Re: What Happened????
Given that the Address Line still states the correct address then I can only assume that the site was hijacked and code replaced.
Probably nothing to do with EAA, just some hacker thought it would fun to replace the site code.
Alternatively the server, assuming both sites on the same server, has a serious problem.
Quick shows that both sites are hoted by THE PLANET

Re: What Happened????
I used the site yesterday and there was mention of a new server and a new format for the file library, there was a link to try the new file library but unfortunately I didn't note it's address at the time. Hopefully it will be back on line soon.

Re: What Happened????
The site wasn't hijacked - just a mix up when they switched to the new server. The forum and file library are both working now, though the Logout button at least doesn't work.
