Problem downloading at the moment

Post by davejc64 »

I seem to be experiencing a problem downloading at the moment, when I try to download any file from UKTrainsim I click to download get the message on my browser that it's connecting but then nothing happens. I do have premium access. it can't be any problems my end because I can still download from other sites.

Hi Dave

Instead of left-clicking on the download button, right-click and use the SaveTarget as... option. I have to do this.....don't ask me why, I've no idea!

Hi Dave, as Doug says I always right clicked to save and after directing the save to the folder where I want it to go, I open it and click on save the file.
I have never had any trouble with any downloads using this method.

Sounds like something to do with the browser, I didn't have to do that with Firefox when I had premium...

That'll be because with FF you don't need to right click and Save Target As.. As FF saves downloads directly to your desktop by default. :) Unless you tell it to do otherwise of course...

When i used to use Safari and IE, i always had to right click and save target as, tbh i only got FF because im lazy! 8)
