RSDL screen shot competition
Hi all, just in case some of you have not seen;
On the near horizon we will be releasing wagon packs for the UK, German and US routes, complete with new scenarios, so as part of our 1 year celebrations we at RSDL are offering you a chance to win these packs and more. For a chance of winning we simply invite you to send us an in-game screenshot from Rail Simulator which captures the theme of seasons. The winning entrants will have embraced the theme and impressed the RSDL team through composition and creativity. Make us laugh, blush or simply wow us with a beautiful image. Send your screenshot in any format, but no more than 1MB in size, to competition@railsimulator.com before the closing date of Tuesday September 30th 2008 for your shot at a prize. Winners will be chosen by committee by the RSDL team and will be featured on our website.
Prizes will be broken down as follows:
1x Grand Prize Winner: All three wagon packs plus any other item of their choosing from the http://www.railsimulator.com shop.
5x Runner Up Prizes: One wagon pack of their choice
regards
Derek

Re: RSDL screen shot competition
How would you struggle to keep the file under 1 meg?
It is more than enough.
Just save as a compressed jpeg.

Even if you did touch it up in photoshop you can still save the image as a jpegand keep it under 1meg.

I see a flaw in that cause someone might have a brilliant screenshot but cant photoshop it etc but someone takes a . screenie but then photoshops it so it looks brill which i think isnt fair.
Just my two pence worth

Re: RSDL screen shot competition
I'm not going to bother, as anything I send in will be blown off like a vacumn cleaner on reverse
Re: RSDL screen shot competition
Maybe just to keep things fair there could be 2 winners one for modified one for unmodifed screenshots?
