Hi folks, Im having a bit of a problem when running trains on the Highland route.Everything works fine except
for the sounds.I am getting the "bridge rumble" sound constantly until i pass over a bridge when the sound
changes to the normal running sound, Its as though the sounds have been reversed. Does anyone know a cure for
this

Hi Wyefielder
First make sure you have all the sound regions available for the route.
These can be located in the route folder contained within the ttype.dat
Example:
SIMISA@@@@@@@@@@JINX0t1t______
11
TrackType ( "Default" "jaModernTrack0In.sms" "jaModernTrack0Ex.sms" )
TrackType ( "Concrete Supported" "jaModernTrack1In.sms" "jaModernTrack1Ex.sms" )
TrackType ( "Wood Supported" "uksteamtrack2In.sms" "uksteamtrack2Ex.sms" )
TrackType ( "In Tunnel" "jaModernTrack3In.sms" "jaModernTrack3Ex.sms" )
TrackType ( "Steel Bridge" "raeurotrack4In.sms" "raeurotrack4Ex.sms" )
TrackType ( "Girder Bridge" "raeurotrack5In.sms" "raeurotrack5Ex.sms" )
TrackType ( "Under Bridge" "jaModernTrack6In.sms" "jaModernTrack6Ex.sms" )
TrackType ( "Concrete Bridge" "raeurotrack7In.sms" "raeurotrack7Ex.sms" )
TrackType ( "Crossing Platform" "raeurotrack8In.sms" "raeurotrack8Ex.sms" )
TrackType ( "Wooden Bridge" "raeurotrack9In.sms" "raeurotrack9Ex.sms" )
TrackType ( "Wooden Pointwork" "jaSteamTrack10In.sms" "jaSteamTrack10Ex.sms" )
If you are satisfied all the sound regions are present, open the route in the Route Editor.
Locate the area which seems to be giving the problem.
Sound regions are identified by yellow arrow headed markers for the limit and delimit of the particular sound.
Move the markers until you get the correct sound within the limits.
There are four sets of markers on any particular sound region.
One marker identifying the Wood or concrete Supported pointing away from the sound region.
One marker pointing into the particular sound region. (Steel, Girder, concrete, Under Bridge etc.)
Another also pointing into the sound region from the opposite direction
and finally a marker identifying the Wood or concrete Supported leaving the sound region.
Before you save the route after making the modifications, move to an unpopulated tile, preferably to a white void edge.
If you decide to make several modifications to sound regions save the route frequently, approximately after 10 or 20 modifications to the sound regions.
Finally, and most important, always make a backup of the route before you start any modifications to the route using the Route Editor.
Kindest regards
Ray
