Higland Railway

Post by wyefielder »

I have just re-downloaded the wonderful Highland Railway route and am having a problem
trying to run the route. When starting the game i keep getting errors
UKSteamTrack10Ex.sms
UKSteamTrack10In.sms
Can anyone tell me what these errors are and how i can cure the problem

Have you installed UK finescale track and New Roads, which are both required to run this Route?

These are sound files its having problems loading....

Try turning the sound settings down a notch in MSTS and see if that stops the error.

As Doug rightly says, they are sound files.

UKSteamTrack10Ex.sms is a file that should be in your Train Simulator/SOUNDS folder, check that it is there (should be as its Default sound) and if so, then as Doug says your P/C is probably running low on resources and cannot load the sound when required, so dropping the sound settings should help out.

If only, haha, All other routes on MSTS are loading no problem, it must be
something to do with the route somewhere
