MK 2 wished id left well alone.

General discussion about Rail Simulator that doesn't really fit in to any specific category. A good place to start if you're not sure what category it should fit in to as well.

Have you set the resolution as described on their front page and in the readme?
Have you deactivated any noCD stuff before install?
What exactly are you seeing?
Is is repeatable or different every time?

You should always make a back up of crucial files and folders before making changes.

HI

I always take a back up of the whole Rail Simulator folder and replace to whole faulty folder to get me back to where I was.

Have you got NIS 2008 installed on your machine as this can cause a freeze the first time you try to run it whenever you add a Major Update to Rail Simulator From then on it will load OK.

Yes i get strange goings on too since Mk2 i can double click on RS editor shortcut only for the app to hang and then a send to microsoft? Double click on the normal shortcut and it works fine, go back to the editor shortcut and then that will work like nothing was wrong? Weird man
