The one remaining Class 60 in full Loadhaul orange/black, 60059, went up in flames yesterday working off Peak Forest.
Not sure how bad though, can anyone provide futher info?

Nothing like a bit of over exaggeration is there, From what I have heard it wasnt at all that bad and the driver put out whatever the fire was although the fire birgade did attend. The loco should be back in traffic soon

Least that'll foil the plans of the 'EWS Yellow Sticker Brigade' to get their hands on 60059 for a while yet... :lol:

059 has been a regular coming past my window in Altrincham over the last few weeks, though I noticed I hadn't seen it the last few days.

Out of interest, where do the Peak Forest trains that come this way go to?

I think if it was to be stickered it would have been by now. I suspect there's a few cranks at Toton trying to keep it unstickered ;).
